Renick Engineering (Sandyford, D18) specialise in Industrial Boilers and Burners.

We are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer.

Job Description

The successful candidate would be part of a team working with the Service Engineers Dept dealing with off-site services and issues as they are reported.

Main Tasks:

Experience in Electrical, Plumbing or both. Mechanical or fitter experience an advantage.
Training will be provided to achieve specialised knowledge required in the Industrial Steam & Heating Boilers & Burners by an experienced mentor.
The successful candidate will be involved in Annual Insurance Inspections on boilers/ burners, which involve full overhauls and servicing of components.
Specialised training provided to cover: Installations, Problem-solving, Call-outs, and Investigating Boiler/ Burner Breakdowns.

Special Features:

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8.00am – 4.30pm. Friday: 8.00am – 3.30pm.
Salary depending on experience.
A probation period will apply – followed by an offer of a full-time position should the candidate be suitable.
Overtime time/ Weekend work required occasionally.
Holidays 20 days per annum.
After the probation period, the candidate would be required to be available to go On-Call Roster (once every 5 – 6 weeks).
Renick Engineering is a nationwide company. Subsistence will be given when applicable (travel time, lunch money, digs etc.).
Applicant should have a current Safe Pass Course & Manual Handling Course or be in the process of completing before the start date.

Person Specification:

RGII Registered an advantage.
Qualifications and Experience.
Basic Windows 10 Knowledge is desirable.
Full Clean Driving License essential.
Excellent attention to detail required.
Be able to work on your own initiative.
Good time-keeping is essential.
